♠ Uniqlo's packaging

I'm seriously getting in love with uniqlo creative design for their packaging. It's should be a whole new concept in town. Why I said so, spot this cool packaging for uniqlo's T-shirt. It's look cool to me. The reason for them to pack the t-shirt inside the bottle is to create a feel of futuristic.

Spot their shop design, it's look like a vending machine, for people to choose their shirt. They make it a simple way for people to purchase, just look and buy.

♠ Less is More / More is Less

Less is More, we often get to apply this theory when we designing a webpage.

Why said so?
As we all know that user wouldn't stay long at a page so much, it must just read the info and click away from the webpage. No matter how many layout or design you apply, it might not means a lot to them, what they looking for is information. Therefore, user will more prefer to read a simple webpage rather than a webpage that full with complicated layout which make us feel annoying and don't have any place for our eye to focus on it.

Not only in webpage design, we can apply it to anywhere, even you have a lot of colour apply in your art work, it doesn't means that it is really nice, somehow some art work which come with a few simple color usage manage to grab people attention.

More is Less, do you ever think that when you give a lot of choices to people to choose, you will found out actually is less for them.

Why said so?
When we are given a lot of choices to choose, you will found out it's actually hard for you to choose. Schwartz saids that,
"There are now several books and magazines devoted to what is called the "voluntary simplicity" movement. Its core idea that we have to many choices, too many decisions, too little time to do what is really important. Taking care of our own "wants" and focusing on what we "want" to do does not strike me as a solution to the problem of too much choice."

Don't you think that what he said is really true.

What does it mean when it come to art?
For me more is less doesn't sounds that bad too.
More is Less, did you ever came across to look on some art work that having a lot of element inside, but you still feel like is less, and you might think that is just nice, even though there is a lot inside.
Here's a picture with many flower, but it still manage to bring out the feel of simple and nice.
